Fall 2008 Mother's Day Out program

We at West Bay Assembly of God begin the Mother's Day Out program with a desire to be a blessing to parents and our community. MDO will begin September 4^th through mid May. Our hope is that your child will feel welcomed and loved in an environment that shows them the love, respect and attention they need.

We will help your child with social skills, such as friendliness, kindness, and neatness. Young children learn through play.

Curriculum will be used by age appropriateness for 3 & 4 yr. olds, with much learning through play activities.

Your child will be read books and gain early reading skills.

We pray before meals and snacks

Please know that as a ministry, we will feel free to speak of God and Jesus.

What to bring:

Bring a lunch, and a drink (see attached ideas)

Note: put name on everything

Wait 24 hours after a fever before bringing them back

Cannot accept child with severe runny nose

Toddler (cold) Lunch Ideas

Tortilla roll-ups

Uses; pb & j, cream cheese, turkey, avocado, cheese, etc..

Pasta salad

Tuna fish salad

Tuna fish sandwich

Cold chicken

Peanut butter on apples, add raisins and it's "ants on a log"

Yogurt w/ fruit to dip in

Sliced hard boiled egg

Make your own lunchable w/ their favorite meat, cheese and crackers

Roll string cheese in slice of ham

Note: those little containers w/ lids are great!

Milk can be frozen in a to-go cup over night, partially filled, then the next morning add more cold milk. Milk will stay cold until lunch.
